Thirty Blue Badge spaces are provided, given out first come first served. Follow the Blue Badge parking signs near the exit. Should you want to take your Blue Badge away with you, the customer desk will issue a temporary permit to leave on display in the car.

When you arrive

1Drive to Car Park 1 at Birmingham Airport and check you are entering the right one.
2There is no ticket to take. Cameras read your registration and the barrier lifts on its own.
3If anything goes wrong, the assistance button is on the entrance column.

When you return

1Head for the exit and the barrier will raise for you.
2If it stays down you have either overstayed or used a different car park, and the standard tariff applies. Extra charges are paid by card in the exit lane.
3Press the assistance button with your booking reference to hand if you need help.

Finding it

When it comes to directions to Birmingham Airport Car Park 1, it couldn’t be more straightforward. It’s located around the corner from the main terminal, so all you need to do is follow the airport signs off the A45 and then the signage for Car Park 1 upon your approach. The more detailed instructions below should help you find Car Park 1 with no trouble. Come off the M42 at Junction 6: 1. Proceed along the A45. 2. Follow the signs to the airport. 3. On arrival to the airport, follow signs for Car Park 1.

Vehicle restrictions: No car may be taller than 2.1m, and it has to sit within a standard bay. Seating must be under 8, and nothing commercial is taken. Anything high sided is turned away, as are minibuses, lorries, motorhomes, caravans and trailers.
Worth knowing: You may arrive up to 2 hours ahead of your booked time. Anything earlier than that may cost extra, paid to the car park. Only ordinary passenger cars are taken. Vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans and trailers are not. This car park works on a non flex basis, and the service provider's terms and conditions set out the booking and amendment rules in full.
