They will keep your keys and ensure your car is safe and secure. When you return, simply arrange to meet them again and they’ll bring your car around.

It’s one of the quickest and most convenient options. As expected, though, it’s more expensive than other parking options.

Short Stay

The Short Stay car park is just a two-minute walk from the terminal, making it ideal for short-term breaks. You don’t need to worry about shuttle bus transfers and can keep your keys for when you return.

Premium Short Stay

Premier Short Stay offers access to the best car parking spaces in Leeds Bradford Airport. The terminal is less than two minutes away and travellers are also given free Fast Track passes for up to 4 people.

Leeds Bradford has many motorcycle-friendly parking spots throughout the airport. You can use most official services, with the exception of Meet and Greet. Just look for two-wheel-friendly spaces and park up. Unfortunately, there are no discounts—you pay by the bay and not the wheel.

Leeds Bradford Airport Information

Leeds Bradford Airport is located about 7 miles from Leeds City Centre. It serves all of West Yorkshire and handles about 4 million passengers a year. The airport’s busiest routes include a number of cities in Spain and Portugal, with Ryanair, Jet2, and TUI Airways handling the most passengers.

The airport first opened in 1931, with the first scheduled flights taking place four years later. Like all European airports, Leeds Bradford took a hit during 2020 and 2021, with the pandemic greatly reducing flight numbers as a result of restrictions, staff shortages, and other issues.

In late 2022, it received a boost following the closure of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, with many flights transferred to this neighbouring airport.

Airport Lounges at Leeds Bradford Airport

There are three luxury lounges at Leeds Bradford Airport.

All of these lounges are open from 5 am to 5 pm every day and guests are invited to stay for up to 3 hours before their scheduled flights. You can walk up and pay at reception, but it’s often cheaper to book online.

The lounges offer free cancellation for up to 24 hours before you arrive, so you won’t be left out of pocket if your flights are delayed.

• The White Rose Suite: Designed with both business and leisure travellers in mind, The White Rose Suite offers fresh food and barista coffee.

• The 1432 Runway Club: Sweet treats, complimentary drinks, snacks, and both hot and cold food are available from the 1432 Runway Club. This is the only Leeds Bradford lounge that excludes children. Guests must be at least 12 years old. It accepts bookings from a maximum of four guests.

All three lounges charge for access, but you won’t be charged to browse the shops or bars. These include World Duty Free, which sells alcohol, treats, nibbles, and more once you make it through security.

You’ll also find a Cabin Bar, Burger King, Camden Food Co., Starbucks, Beer House, and Saltaire Bar after security, with Greggs and Caffè Ritazza available before you pass through the scanners and have your personal space violated.

Leeds Bradford Fast Track

Leeds Bradford Airport has a Fast Track service that is available for just £6. It’s capped to prevent everyone purchasing it and creating queues in the Fast Track lane (thus defeating the purpose), so make sure you book more than 24 hours before your flight.

The dedicated Fast Track lets you pass through security quickly, shaving minutes off your travel time and helping you to avoid queues.

Leeds Bradford Drop Off and Pick Up

Drop-offs and pick-ups occur in a dedicated area outside the terminal and are charged at a rate of £5 for 0 to 10 minutes for cars, £10 for minibuses with 9 seats or fewer, and £12 for minibuses with 10 seats or more.

If you stay for longer than 10 minutes, the price increases, so be quick!

The drop-off/pick-up area is completely ticketless. A camera will record your license plate number when you enter, register how long you stay, and then charge you at the barrier when you leave.
