Official parking options are provided by Leeds Bradford directly. They are some of the most expensive services you can book, but they are also convenient, as they are located just a stone’s throw from the terminal building.
If you dread driving around looking for a parking space, then let someone else do the work for you. If you book Meet and Greet parking at Leeds Bradford, a valet will arrange to meet you and then take your car away.
Just make sure you grab your bags from the boot first.
They will keep your keys and ensure your car is safe and secure. When you return, simply arrange to meet them again and they’ll bring your car around.
It’s one of the quickest and most convenient options. As expected, though, it’s more expensive than other parking options.
The Short Stay car park is just a two-minute walk from the terminal, making it ideal for short-term breaks. You don’t need to worry about shuttle bus transfers and can keep your keys for when you return.
Premier Short Stay offers access to the best car parking spaces in Leeds Bradford Airport. The terminal is less than two minutes away and travellers are also given free Fast Track passes for up to 4 people.
These Fast Track passes are valid for Leeds Bradford Airport security. If there’s a queue, you can skip it, saving yourself countless minutes and giving you more time to enjoy the duty free.
Mid Stay is a little further award than Short Stay, but not by a great deal. At most, you’ll be walking for an extra minute. It’s usually a cheaper option though and it’s just as easy to park here as it is in the Short Stay.
If you’ve booked a holiday for a week or more, check out the Long Stay. It’s the cheapest official parking option available at Leeds Bradford Airport, but unless you’ve got your walking shoes on, there’s no way you’re trekking to the terminal on foot.
Instead, just park your car, grab your bags, and then wait at one of the nearby bus stops for a shuttle. Once it arrives, it will pick you up free of charge and then take you to the terminal. The travel time is usually just 2 minutes.
Leeds Bradford has many motorcycle-friendly parking spots throughout the airport. You can use most official services, with the exception of Meet and Greet. Just look for two-wheel-friendly spaces and park up. Unfortunately, there are no discounts—you pay by the bay and not the wheel.
You will find a number of Blue Badge spaces in the airport’s official car parks. Make sure your badge is displayed at all times. If you need it for your travels, take a photocopy and display it on your windscreen.
Third-party operators also offer parking services at Leeds Bradford Airport. These operators are still safe and secure and they provide monitored car parks within a short distance of the terminal. They can be cheaper (although it depends on the dates and services), but they are usually not as convenient.
Sentinel is a highly-rated car parking service based at Leeds Bradford Airport and a few other UK airports. The car park is located just half a mile from the main terminal building and there are regular shuttle buses on hand to get you there.
The car park is open 24 hours a day and it’s fully secured and monitored. One of the best features of this car park is that you only pay if you actually stay. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, you can get a free refund and book for another day.
If your vehicle is looking a little worse for wear and you want to kill two birds with one stone, Sentinel offers both valeting and servicing options. They’ll make sure your vehicle is spick-and-span for your return trip.

Leeds Bradford Airport is located about 7 miles from Leeds City Centre. It serves all of West Yorkshire and handles about 4 million passengers a year. The airport’s busiest routes include a number of cities in Spain and Portugal, with Ryanair, Jet2, and TUI Airways handling the most passengers.
The airport first opened in 1931, with the first scheduled flights taking place four years later. Like all European airports, Leeds Bradford took a hit during 2020 and 2021, with the pandemic greatly reducing flight numbers as a result of restrictions, staff shortages, and other issues.
In late 2022, it received a boost following the closure of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, with many flights transferred to this neighbouring airport.
There are three luxury lounges at Leeds Bradford Airport.
All of these lounges are open from 5 am to 5 pm every day and guests are invited to stay for up to 3 hours before their scheduled flights. You can walk up and pay at reception, but it’s often cheaper to book online.
The lounges offer free cancellation for up to 24 hours before you arrive, so you won’t be left out of pocket if your flights are delayed.
The Yorkshire Lounge: Plush seating, free WiFi, runway views, and a selection of food and drinks.
The White Rose Suite: Designed with both business and leisure travellers in mind, The White Rose Suite offers fresh food and barista coffee.
The 1432 Runway Club: Sweet treats, complimentary drinks, snacks, and both hot and cold food are available from the 1432 Runway Club. This is the only Leeds Bradford lounge that excludes children. Guests must be at least 12 years old. It accepts bookings from a maximum of four guests.
All three lounges charge for access, but you won’t be charged to browse the shops or bars. These include World Duty Free, which sells alcohol, treats, nibbles, and more once you make it through security.
You’ll also find a Cabin Bar, Burger King, Camden Food Co., Starbucks, Beer House, and Saltaire Bar after security, with Greggs and Caffè Ritazza available before you pass through the scanners and have your personal space violated.
Leeds Bradford Airport has a Fast Track service that is available for just £6. It’s capped to prevent everyone purchasing it and creating queues in the Fast Track lane (thus defeating the purpose), so make sure you book more than 24 hours before your flight.
The dedicated Fast Track lets you pass through security quickly, shaving minutes off your travel time and helping you to avoid queues.
Drop-offs and pick-ups occur in a dedicated area outside the terminal and are charged at a rate of £5 for 0 to 10 minutes for cars, £10 for minibuses with 9 seats or fewer, and £12 for minibuses with 10 seats or more.
If you stay for longer than 10 minutes, the price increases, so be quick!
The drop-off/pick-up area is completely ticketless. A camera will record your license plate number when you enter, register how long you stay, and then charge you at the barrier when you leave.
