Long Stay 1 is a little further away than Short Stay, but it’s still within walking distance. You’ll be at the check-in desk within a few minutes and should save yourself a few quid by booking this option.

Long Stay 2

The Long Stay 2 car park is a low-cost, budget car park that’s only a few minutes from the terminal and is perfect for mid-length and long stays.

Long Stay 3

Described as the “best value” parking option by the airport, Long Stay 3 is a cheap car park suitable for long stays. It’s a few minutes from the terminal and the price typically reflects this.

You can park here even if you’re only planning on a short stay. It just means that you’ll have to add a few extra minutes to your journey and lug your baggage a little further.

SEN SACP Park & Ride

SEN SACP Park & Ride is an off-airport car park provided by a third party. This means that it’s not offered by the airport directly and the car park itself is located outside the airport. It’s usually the cheaper option and is ideal for long stays.

Once you have parked securely in the car park, simply wait for one of the shuttle buses and then take the 5-minute journey to the airport. If you’re happy with a short bus ride, there’s no reason not to consider this unofficial Southend Airport parking option.

Southend Airport is located about 36 miles from the centre of London, serving Greater London and southern Essex. It has a single runway that spans 1,856 metres and it is considered to be one of the best airports in the capital.

In fact, in 2013, 2014, and 2015 it was voted the best airport in Britain by Which?. It was also voted the best London airport for 6 consecutive years, beginning in 2019.
