Liverpool Airport Parking Options
Official Parking
If it’s official, it means that it is provided by the airport. The airport uses many of the same security protocols as the unofficial options (see below) but they tend to be much closer to the terminal.
Long Stay
As the name suggests, this parking option is designed for long holidays. It uses 24-hour CCTV and regular patrols to ensure that your vehicle remains safe throughout the duration of your holiday. You park your car yourself and keep hold of your keys until you return.
The Long Stay car park is about 4 or 5 minutes away from the terminal on foot, so you don’t need to take a shuttle bus and will be there before you know it.
Short Stay
Located just opposite the terminal, Short Stay is one of the most convenient options at Liverpool Airport, but it’s also more expensive than Long Stay.
The Short Stay car park is undercover, so you’ll be protected from the elements as you head into the terminal building.
Multi-Storey
The Multi-Storey is directly opposite the terminal, making it one of the fastest and most convenient parking options at Liverpool Airport. It’s ideal if you have a lot of baggage but not a lot of time.
The Multi-Storey car park is completely undercover and it uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to detect when you enter and exit. It means that you don’t need to worry about kiosks and call buttons and can simply book and drive.
Fast Track Parking
As with the Multi-Storey option, Fast Track Parking uses ANPR to provide a smooth and seamless parking experience. It’s also less than a minute away from the terminal and the parking zone is completely secure.
When you book this Liverpool Airport parking option, you will be given two Fast Track Security passes. These passes let you skip the queues and shorten the time it takes to check in and pass through security.
Book Fast Track Parking online to ensure you’re prepared. Don’t worry if your plans change as Fast Track passes can be adjusted to accommodate those changes and ensure you don’t miss out.
Fast Track Family Parking
As above, Fast Track Family Parking is a fast and convenient parking option that bundles Fast Track security passes into the deal. If you opt for the “family” option, you will be given four of these Fast Track passes and can also benefit from extra wide parking bays.
That may not sound like a big deal, but if you’ve ever faced the indignity of having kids clamber excitedly out of car doors, only to clatter into the next car and then blame the car itself, you’ll understand how useful they are.
It also helps that you’re less than a minute away from the terminal.
Meet & Greet
With Meet & Greet parking, a valet will take your vehicle off your hands and do most of the work for you. Simply head to the Meet & Greet area outside the terminal, hand over your keys, and then head to the check-in desk.
Your car will be parked securely and will be waiting for you when you return.
Unofficial Parking
Unofficial parking is often further away but cheaper. These options should always be considered when you’re looking for cheap parking at Liverpool Airport. Just remember, “unofficial” doesn’t mean unsafe, and it definitely doesn’t mean they have more relaxed rules and security than the official options.
Of course, you should still do your due diligence in advance if you encounter parking services not listed here.
Imagine Park and Ride Outdoor
Although Imagine Park and Ride car parks are technically off-airport, they are located just 400 yards or so from the terminal. There are a number of facilities on-site to provide a seamless process and there’s also an optional valet service if you need it.
Imagine Park and Ride is available as outdoor and indoor car parks. As you can see from our Liverpool Airport parking options, these unofficial car parks are usually cheaper than official options.
Park Smart +31 Days
Park Smart is a self-park option that’s located a short distance from the airport terminal. Just park up, take your luggage, and start your journey. These options are usually included on our list of cheap Liverpool Airport parking, as they are always very reasonably priced for long stays.
