East Midlands Airport Parking Options

Meet and Greet

The most premium—and, as you may have guessed—costliest East Midlands airport parking option is Meet & Greet.

This option offers you the convenience of a 1 to 2-minute walk to the terminal after you've handed over your vehicle. It's a real time saver and is ideal for those traveling with a lot of luggage, kids, or both (poor you).

This car parking option has to be pre-booked. Use our search feature to find and order the cheapest option.

Short Stay 1, 2, and 3 (Short Walk to Terminal)

East Midlands Airport offers official short-stay parking options, each of which has its own equally inventive name. These are, 'Short Stay 1', 'Short Stay 2' and 'Short Stay 3'.

These car parks are all located very close to the terminal and to each other, but the walking time differs very slightly. It takes 1 to 3 minutes for Short Stay 1 and 2 and 1 to 5 minutes for Short Stay 3.

It's possible to pay for these options on the day, but we'd advise against it. It's generally much cheaper to book in advance. On the day of arrival, you'll simply drive into the car park (thanks to the ANPR cameras), keep your keys, and walk to the terminal.

If you've pre-booked, the exit procedure is just as simple—drive up to the barrier and let the ANPR work its magic. Unless you’ve overstayed, the barrier will open and you’ll be free to go.

Mid Stay Parking: Mid Stay 2 and Mid Stay 3 (Short Walk to Terminal)

Official Mid Stay parking offers a cost-effective East Midlands car parking solution that is still very convenient, with no shuttle bus needed.

Mid Stay is just as simple as the short-stay options. On arrival, the barrier will open and the ANPR cameras will read your number plates. On your return (assuming you've pre-booked and haven't overstayed) the ANPR cameras will allow you to leave the car park as they'll automatically check your booking.

Again, as with Short Stay, you'll almost certainly be better off booking in advance.

East Midlands Park and Ride Options

Long Stay 1 and Long Stay 2 parking offer the cheapest rates for long-term parking, ideal for trips of over a week.

Long Stay is located fairly close to the terminal, but it's advisable to use the complimentary shuttle bus service. Bus stops are located at various points around the car park and are never too far from your space!

Jet Parks 1 and Jet Parks 2

These car parks are always a good bet and will quite possibly be where you find some cheap East Midlands airport parking. They're ideal for those who are on a budget and those who are travelling for an extended period of time.

Whilst the car parks are located a distance from the terminals, you'll be able to hop on the free shuttle bus from one of the nearby bus stops. The shuttle bus journey to the terminal takes around 12 to 15 minutes. Since you're on our website, we fancy that this cheap airport parking option may well be up your street!
