JetParks 1 vs JetParks 3

JetParks 1 and JetParks 3 are both official Manchester Airport car parks where you park yourself, keep your keys and nobody else moves the car. Number plate recognition lifts the barriers, the free shuttle runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and both have a gravel surface and a minimum stay from 3 days.

The main difference is coverage. JetParks 1, on Thorley Lane, serves Terminal 2 only and is not suitable for Terminal 3. JetParks 3, on Styal Road, serves both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

Verdict: Flying from Terminal 3? JetParks 1 isn't an option, so JetParks 3 is the one. Flying from Terminal 2? These two are closely matched, so go with whichever is cheaper for your dates, they're both sound options.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows JetParks 3 was £59.99 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So JetParks 3 is £4.00 cheaper than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs APH Manchester Self Park

With JetParks 1 and APH Manchester Self Park, you park the car yourself, keep your keys and take a free bus to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport, with one around every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.

The main difference is who runs it and what you've signed up to. JetParks 1 is an official airport car park on Thorley Lane, with a minimum stay from 3 days. APH Manchester Self Park is APH's own site at Bradnor Road in Sharston, where the bus takes about 10 minutes, and it also serves Terminal 3. Its Super-Flex terms let you cancel or change free of charge any time before your booked arrival time, while the Semi-Flex terms at JetParks 1 stop 72 hours before the parking period starts.

Coming home is a little different too. At JetParks 1, number plate recognition lifts the exit barrier. At APH Manchester Self Park, reception gives you the code for it.

Verdict: If your plans might change late on, APH Manchester Self Park may be worth the extra to you - it's a judgement call. If they're fixed and JetParks 1 is cheaper for your dates, JetParks 1 is probably the better value, and if APH Manchester Self Park is cheaper, it's probably an easy call.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows APH Manchester Self Park was £119.95 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So APH Manchester Self Park is £55.96 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Quick Access Parking

JetParks 1 and Quick Access Parking both have a free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport that runs 24 hours a day.

The main difference is your keys, and which terminals you can reach. JetParks 1 is one of Manchester Airport's own car parks, on Thorley Lane, and it's on the Accredited Airport Parking Provider scheme's list. You park the car yourself and keep your keys, and it doesn't serve Terminal 3. Quick Access Parking is an off-airport car park at Lode Hill in Styal that also lists Terminal 3, and there you leave your car and keys at reception and the team parks it.

Quick Access Parking lists staff around the clock, barrier-controlled entry and exit and a fenced perimeter. It also adds drop-off and pick-up fees of £6.50 each way, paid at the car park.

Verdict: Flying from Terminal 3? It's Quick Access Parking, as JetParks 1 isn't an option. Flying from Terminal 2? If keeping your keys matters, JetParks 1 is the one. Otherwise, go by which is cheaper once Quick Access Parking's fees are added.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Quick Access Parking was £42.99 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Quick Access Parking is £21.00 cheaper than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs APH Park & Ride

JetParks 1 and APH Park & Ride both have a free bus that runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and both go to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport.

The main difference is your keys. At JetParks 1 you find your own space, keep your keys and nobody moves the car. At APH Park & Ride, on Bradnor Road in Sharston, you park in a marked arrival bay, hand your keys to reception and staff park the car, either on the main site or at the covered Dome a few hundred yards away. Some drivers are uncomfortable with that. On that point, APH says its drivers are fully insured, and the site has CCTV and 24-hour manned patrols. If your car has a ghost immobiliser, APH may need you to move to APH Manchester Self Park.

The upside to APH Park & Ride is that it also serves Terminal 3, and staff help with your luggage. Its Super-Flex terms also run right up to your booked arrival time, where the Semi-Flex terms at JetParks 1 stop 72 hours before the parking period starts.

Verdict: If keeping your keys matters to you, JetParks 1 is the one for Terminal 2. If it doesn't, and APH Park & Ride is the cheaper option on your dates, it's probably an easy call. Where JetParks 1 is cheaper, JetParks 1 is probably worth sticking with.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows APH Park & Ride was £64.95 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So APH Park & Ride is £0.96 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs APH Park and Ride with EV Charging

JetParks 1 and APH Park and Ride with EV Charging both have a bus every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and both go to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport.

The main difference is the charging, and what you give up to get it. At APH Park and Ride with EV Charging, on Bradnor Road in Sharston, you leave your keys and APH's team charges the car and then parks it, which saves you from hunting for a charger after your flight. You bring your own cable, and the car must arrive with at least 5% charge. At JetParks 1, you park the car yourself, keep your keys and nobody else moves it.

Verdict: Driving an EV and want it charged while you're away? APH Park and Ride with EV Charging is the one to book. If you can charge at home, or you're not driving an EV, JetParks 1 does the job from Terminal 2, and where JetParks 1 is cheaper, it's probably an easy call.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows APH Park and Ride with EV Charging was £114.94 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So APH Park and Ride with EV Charging is £50.95 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Maple Park & Ride

JetParks 1 and Maple Park & Ride both come with a free shuttle to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport, and with both, you get a bus rather than a walk to check-in.

The main difference is keys and distance. JetParks 1 is an official airport car park on Thorley Lane, where you park the car yourself and keep your keys. Maple Park & Ride is on Isherwood Road in Carrington, about 10 miles from the airport. You park in a Drop Off bay, a camera photographs the car as it enters, and you hand your keys over at reception so that staff can park it. On return, you collect your bags, clear customs and then ring for the shuttle.

The upside to Maple Park & Ride is that it also lists Terminal 3, and staff will carry your luggage to the bus on request.

Verdict: If you'd rather keep your keys and fly from Terminal 2, JetParks 1 is the natural choice, particularly where JetParks 1 is cheaper. If Maple Park & Ride is cheaper for your dates and you don't mind the distance or handing over your keys, Maple Park & Ride makes sense.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Maple Park & Ride was £44.99 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Maple Park & Ride is £19.00 cheaper than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3

JetParks 1 and Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 are both run by Manchester Airport for Terminal 2 only. With both, you park the car yourself, keep your keys and number plate recognition does the work on the way in and out. Neither takes transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans or trailers.

The main difference is the bus. JetParks 1 relies on a free shuttle every 15 minutes, from a gravel car park. Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 has no shuttle: you walk to the terminal from a car park where most of the spaces are undercover. It has a 2 metre height limit, though.

Length of stay matters here as well. JetParks 1 has a minimum stay from 3 days. Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 has no minimum, but stays are limited to 10 days, which may reduce at peak times.

Verdict: For a long trip, or if Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 costs a lot more, JetParks 1 is probably the better value for the sake of a shuttle ride. For a shorter trip where the price difference is small, Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 is probably worth it to skip the bus altogether.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 was £110.10 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey West - P3 is £46.11 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Mid Stay T3 - P15

JetParks 1 and Mid Stay T3 - P15 are official Manchester Airport car parks where you find a space yourself and keep your keys, with number plate recognition lifting the barriers.

The main difference is the terminal, which makes this less of a choice than it looks. JetParks 1 serves Terminal 2 only, by free shuttle. Mid Stay T3 - P15 serves Terminal 3 only, on foot with no shuttle, and the airport says it continues to serve Ryanair customers. It's an outdoor car park, with a 2 metre height limit and Semi-Flex terms that stop 4 days before the parking period begins.

Verdict: Your terminal decides this one, whichever way the price falls. Mid Stay T3 - P15 is the one of these two for Terminal 3, and JetParks 1 is the one for Terminal 2.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Mid Stay T3 - P15 was £72.90 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Mid Stay T3 - P15 is £8.91 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14

JetParks 1 and Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 are both Manchester Airport's own self-park car parks. You keep your keys, number plate recognition lifts the barrier, and neither takes transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans or trailers.

The main difference is the terminal. JetParks 1 is only for Terminal 2, with a free shuttle every 15 minutes. Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 is only for Terminal 3. It sits next to the terminal, you walk there through a covered walkway, and most of the spaces are undercover. Its stays are limited to 10 days, and the height limit is 2 metres.

Verdict: There's no real price call to make here. Booked out of Terminal 3, Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 is the right one of the pair, however the two compare for your dates. Booked out of Terminal 2, JetParks 1 is, because Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 only serves Terminal 3.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 was £83.50 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Multi-Storey Terminal 3 - P14 is £19.51 more expensive than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs Drop & Go - P16

JetParks 1 and Drop & Go - P16 are both operated by Manchester Airport, with number plate recognition at the barrier and a free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 that runs 24 hours a day.

The main difference is who parks the car. At JetParks 1, you find a space yourself, keep your keys and walk to the nearest bus stop. At Drop & Go - P16, you pull into a bay, lock up and leave your keys, and a fully insured driver parks the car for you. Cameras record the condition of the car as you drive in, which should reassure anyone uneasy about the handover. When you get back, the car is waiting in a dedicated returns area.

The upside to Drop & Go - P16 is that it also serves Terminal 3, a short walk away, and you leave the car in a bay rather than finding a space yourself. Bear in mind that it has a 2 metre height limit, and free changes stop 4 days before the parking period begins, against 72 hours at JetParks 1.

Verdict: If you'd rather nobody else drove your car, JetParks 1 keeps it in your hands, and where JetParks 1 is cheaper, it's probably an easy call. If Drop & Go - P16 is cheaper, or the price difference is small and you're happy to hand over your keys, Drop & Go - P16 is probably worth it.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows Drop & Go - P16 was £59.99 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So Drop & Go - P16 is £4.00 cheaper than JetParks 1.

JetParks 1 vs VIP Meet & Greet

The JetParks 1 shuttle and VIP Meet & Greet both run 24 hours a day and both can get you to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport.

The main difference is that you keep your keys and take the bus at JetParks 1, and you do neither with VIP Meet & Greet. You ring the company as you approach, drive to the departures area of your terminal and a chauffeur in a black and orange uniform takes the car to a private car park with CCTV and electric gates. The drivers are fully insured, and you get a receipt noting the car's fuel level, mileage and condition from the information you provide.

Bear in mind that VIP Meet & Greet has charges the booking doesn't cover: a £6.50 airport drop-off fee, paid to the driver, and the airport's charge for the return, paid to Manchester Airport before midnight the following day. It's also an independent company, not part of Manchester Airport Group, while JetParks 1 is the airport's own.

Verdict: Short of time, or loaded up with kids and cases? VIP Meet & Greet can be worth paying more for - it's a judgement call. If you'd rather nobody else drove your car, or JetParks 1 is noticeably cheaper for your dates, JetParks 1 is probably the better value.

Our current price snapshot (a 7-day stay, from 9th Nov to 16th Nov 2026) shows VIP Meet & Greet was £74.95 whilst JetParks 1 was £63.99. So VIP Meet & Greet is £10.96 more expensive than JetParks 1.
