APH Short Run

We're aware most of you will enter 'APH Short Run Park & Ride Birmingham' into your sat nav.

If you’re using the B40 1QB postcode with your satnav, you may find yourself at the Holiday Inn Express or Little Owl pub.

If that does happen, go back to the roundabout and follow signs to Elmdon Industrial Estate.

The ShortRun is located on the next roundabout, first exit. The entrance is on the left after the Premier Inn.

Instructions for approaching from the south on the M6, at Junction 4:

• Exit the motorway using Junction 4 and take the first available exit.
• After approximately 500 meters, take the slip road signposted Brownhills A452.
• At the following roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4438.
• Continue on the B4438, taking the first exit at the next roundabout.
• The car park will be on your left-hand side, just beyond the Premier Inn.

Instructions for approaching from the north on the M6, at Junction 4:

• Leave the motorway using Junction 4. Take the third exit and, after approximately 500 metres, take the slip road signposted Brownhills A452.
• At the following roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4438.
• Continue on the B4438, taking the first exit at the next roundabout.
• The car park will be on your left-hand side, just beyond the Premier Inn.

Instructions for approaching from the north on the M42, at Junction 6:

• Leave the motorway using Junction 6. Take the first exit, avoiding the slip road on your left, and instead follow the signs for A45 Coventry.
• Stay in the north/south lane and take the slip road signposted A452 Brownhills.
• At the following roundabout, take the first exit signposted A452 Brownhills. As the road splits, bear left onto the north/south lane signposted A452 Brownhills.
• Continue on the B4438, taking the second exit at the next roundabout.
• Take the first exit at the following roundabout.
• The car park will be on your left-hand side, just beyond the Premier Inn.

Instructions for approaching from the south on the M42, at Junction 6:

• Keep right and take the fourth exit, following the signs for A45 Coventry.
• Avoid the slip road on your left and stay in the north/south lane, taking the slip road signposted A452 Brownhills.
• At the following roundabout, take the first exit signposted A452 Brownhills. As the road splits, bear left onto the north/south lane signposted A452 Brownhills.
• Continue on the B4438, taking the second exit at the next roundabout.
• Take the first exit at the following roundabout.
• The car park will be on your left-hand side, just beyond the Premier Inn.

Once you’ve found your way to the car park, stop at the barrier and await the arrival of a member of staff.

You’ll be given instructions on where to park and you’ll be issued with a ticket which you should keep safe. The ticket will be used to exit the car park.

Once you’re checked-in the staff will open the barrier and you’ll proceed to the space you’ve been allocated.

Unload your car and make your way to the nearest bus stop. The bus driver will be happy to help you with your luggage. Buses operate all hours and are available on an on-demand basis. The journey time is around 5 minutes.

Once you leave the Arrivals Hall at Birmingham Airport, head straight for bus stop A - the location where you were dropped off. Once there, call ShortRun on 0121 794 2600.

An on demand bus will be sent to collect you and once you’ve loaded your car, you’ll be able to exit through the barrier using the ticket you were issued on arrival.
