Entry requirements for UK fans

USA: British travellers entering or transiting through the USA normally need either an ESTA or a visa. The official ESTA fee is currently $40.27, and an approved ESTA is generally valid for two years, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Apply only through the official ESTA website, not a third-party site.

Canada: British visitors do not usually need a visa for short visits, but they may need an eTA if flying to Canada or transiting through a Canadian airport. Canada's eTA costs CAN$7 and is valid for up to five years, or until the passport expires. An eTA is not needed when entering Canada by land or sea.

Mexico: British tourists do not need a visa to visit Mexico. Visitors receive a stamp in their passport showing how long they are permitted to stay.

Getting to the grounds

Dallas - AT&T Stadium / Dallas Stadium: There is no direct train to the stadium. The official public transport route is to take the TRE train to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, then use the complimentary charter buses for match-ticket holders.

Boston - Gillette Stadium / Boston Stadium: Matchday train services run from Boston's South Station to Foxboro Station, which is less than a 10-minute walk from the stadium. Tickets should be bought in advance through the official Boston 2026 stadium transport information.

New York/New Jersey - MetLife Stadium / NYNJ Stadium: Fans can use NJ TRANSIT from New York Penn Station to Secaucus Junction, then transfer to the Meadowlands Rail Line or matchday service for the stadium. Tickets should be bought in advance. See the official NYNJ 2026 transport guide and NJ TRANSIT World Cup travel information.

Miami - Hard Rock Stadium / Miami Stadium: Fans can take Brightline to Aventura Station, then use the Miami-Dade matchday shuttle to Miami Stadium. Shuttle access is for valid match-ticket holders and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. See the Brightline World Cup travel page and Miami-Dade mobility information.

Before You Go: Away Fan Checklist

✈️ Flights & General Tips

  • Book internal US flights early - Dallas, Boston and New York routes fill fast
  • For US internal flights, compare Google Flights and Skyscanner, then cross-check directly with airlines such as Southwest for baggage rules, change policies and any direct-only fares
  • Inform your bank before you travel to avoid card blocks abroad

🚗 Parking

  • Pre-book off-airport park and ride (the cheapest more often than not) - consistently cheaper than driving in on the day
  • Book as soon as possible for the best rates - spaces fill up in summer
  • Check for free cancellation in case your plans change as the team progresses
  • Allow 20–30 extra minutes for park and ride transfers on top of your check-in time

The Final Whistle

Don't leave airport parking until injury time. Compare live prices now and pre-book before spaces tighten.
