APH Drop and Go at Luton Airport is an Off Airport Parking facility which is located just a 14 minute shuttle bus ride from the terminal.

Benefitting from the Park Mark Award, you can rest assured that this is a safe place to leave your car.

APH Drop and Go is a valet operated service, meaning you will leave your keys when you drop off your car and collect them on your return.

From the M1 Southbound

  • Exit the M1 at junction 10.
  • Follow the A1081 signed (St Albans/Harpenden).
  • Take the first exit when you reach the roundabout (signposted London Road).
  • Then take the second exit when you reach the next roundabout and continue to follow the A1081 (London Road).
  • Turn right onto Newlands road by taking a sharp right.
  • Then turn left onto the B4540.
  • Then turn onto Grove Road on your right.

From the M1 Northbound:

  • Exit the M1 at junction 9.
  • Follow Heathrow Airport/Staines/Hounslow signs, and continue onto the M4.
  • Exit onto the M40 at junction 4B signed Oxford/Watford.
  • Next merge onto the M25.
  • Exit onto the M1 at junction 21, (signed Luton Airport).
  • Take the exit from the M1 at junction 9 onto the A5183 (signed Redburn).
  • Continue along the A5183 until you reach Grove Road in Slip End.

When you arrive at the car park there are two sets of barriers.

  • The first barrier will raise as you approach.
  • At the second barrier, you will need to press the green button to open the barrier.
  • The cameras at this point will take photographs of your vehicle. This only takes a minute and will happen automatically.
  • When you are through the barriers, park up in the arrivals bay and proceed to the check in building.
  • There are self check in machines here. Use your booking confirmation numbers to register your vehicle.
  • A tag will be produced by the machine. This tag will need to be attached to your keys. A ticket will also be printed, keep this with you as it will be required later .
  • Park in the lane, and drop your keys in the box that corresponds with the lane you parked in.
  • Staff will retrieve your keys from the box and park your car for you.
  • Catch the transfer bus, showing the driver the ticket you collected from the machine.

  • When you arrive back at the Airport catch the transfer bus back to the car park. Present the ticket to the driver.
  • Head to the check out shelter to retrieve your car keys. The key dispenser will give you step by step instructions.
  • The key dispenser machine will return your key and the location of your car will be displayed on the screen.
  • When you have located your car, head to the exit barrier.
  • Insert your ticket into the machine, and scan the barcode which will be attached to your keys, the barrier will lift for you to exit and continue your journey.

Top Tip:

Keep hold of your ticket, as you will need to show it to the shuttle bus driver and to pass through the exit barrier on your return.

If you misplace your ticket, report to the reception area, staff will need to go through security questions with you. Please bring photo ID to confirm your identity.

About APH Drop and Go Luton Airport

APH Drop and Go at Luton Airport is an Off Airport Park and Ride service, with the benefit of Valet parking. The Car park is easily accessible from the M1 motorway and conveniently located just a 14 minute transfer from the airport.

When you arrive at the airport, there are two sets of barriers, the first will open as you approach.

The second barrier will require you to press the green button for entry.

At the entrance barriers, photographs will be taken of your vehicle to record its condition.

Once you have entered the car park, check in at the self service machine, tag your keys, drop them in the box and catch the transfer bus. Your car will be valet parked for you - no need to mess around looking for a space!

When you return, catch the transfer bus to the car park, collect your keys from the key dispenser and make your way to the exit barriers.

The car park boasts the Park Mark Safer Parking Award, meaning it has passed a risk assessment and has a number of safety features which will keep your vehicle safe and secure. APH Drop and Go benefits from ANPR controlled barriers, security fencing, CCTV cameras and staff who patrol the car park 24/7.

Due to barriers being in place at the car park there are some vehicle restrictions. Vehicles can not be any larger than: 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long.

The Transfer bus is included in the parking price, and the buses run all day and night so no need to worry about what time you are arrive.
